I've not yet released a map... maybe I should. Anyway, the first map that I made on source, and the screenshots of it, were sadly destroyed in a hard drive failure a while back. It's a bummer too, because it might have turned out to be pretty neat.

Nah, dont worry about constantly releasing, just worry about progressing in skill. I have actually only released one map, and to be honest, it was terrible.

This is one of my first (and unfinished) INS maps... I did this one when I got HL2 in 2004 I think.

some more old maps:

de_raoni (2003-2004), my second try on making a jungle map for the hl engine. I never finished it but released a beta that was pretty fun and is still being played sometimes today

de_toledo/ts_toledo. Squad made this map, and I did the models and textures, was pretty fun to work on . Mino did the skybox btw (I still love it!!)

This was teh first time I went to try more hand drawn textures instead of tiling photos.. some parts look really cartoony because of it but i like it

It also has a 3d skybox made out of a huge model with its origin all up in the sky!!

And here is an insurgency map I never finished, only a rough layout version with some parts worked out

now all I do is make textures and models .. I really need to get back into mapping, still lots of things to learn!! I'm sortoff waiting for a new engine, because i really dont like hammer anymore.. I'll probably do an ut2k7 map when that comes out, or maybe quake wars
