Silent Road - Source Art

Hey there,

Ive started making a series of images using the source engine called Source Art. Here is my first piece. Took about a day to complete all in all, let me know what you think.

too bad its only one screen, cause the atmosphere is nice

I really like this - the only thing that lets it down (for me) is the very blurred feel of it, seems like you could have got a more foggy effect without resorting to blurring things.

A great effort though, please keep us updated with any future projects

Thanks for the kind words.

The blur i added more than anything to take lead your eye away from the drab, boring areas of the piece and make you look at the buildings in the scene. Having said this, i have to stand by my guns and say im pretty fond of the old bluring effect, always have been.

Thats cool. I know some people say it isn't original because its from a screenie, but i have always been found of altering game screenies. Not as good as you though and more to the funny kind of way. I like it! It's excellent
