Very interesting, a good read. I'll be interested to see how this whole thing pans out, I was not in favour of upgrading to Vista in the first place (seems like a lot of effort for a new GUI) and this kind of thing only re-enforces my opinion.

I will not use vista unless someone finds a way to disable all this security bullshit. And my next PC will be a Mac and i will buy a console for gaming.

the current-gen technology is impressive, and it's amazing what we can accomplish with it, but seeing millions shoot themselves in the foot like this is disheartening.
