You really should read Hourences free pdf on Lighting, I think you can snag a few good bits from there. Especially read up on making lights that doesnt have a source (where does that greenish light come from?) And making them have a realistic size compared to the source (twiz picture shows what Im talking about, the spotlight doesnt even make sense). It looks 90%! You just lack the extra 10, keep it up! I was just playing around with it and I thought that would be a good idea to try to keep the symbol thing going. I agree, the brush work is pretty simple. I'll make sure to give my next map more detail and work on the lighting more. Again, thanks for all the crits and I'm glad some of you like it. I'll take all this good advice and put it towards the next map. Quote

If it's a magic light, make the magic more apparent, some floating sprites etc. Don't just give up, but keep at it until you have something spotlight quality, please.. Quote
