Izuno Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Missed the boat on the pre-order, but I'll find a way to get one by Dec that hopefully doesn't require ebay. Quote
Meotwister Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 If you enjoy a dramatically shortened lifespan. Yeah I thought I'd go ahead and sell off a kidney... because y'know... i was serious. Missed the boat on the pre-order, but I'll find a way to get one by Dec that hopefully doesn't require ebay. same Quote

OrnateBaboon Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Seeing the video of Link fishing is enough to convince me. A good Zelda game always makes me want to buy a system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3p3xoow3WM Quote
Nysuatro Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Now that is what i call interaction with games Quote
ginsengavenger Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Didn't manage a pre-order this morning, it was all full up when I got to the mall. Not too worried though. I am so optimistic for this console when I see videos like the zelda fishing. In fact one of my most profound gaming experiences was the fishing in ocarina of time~ That does look pretty tiring and time consuming though. Quote
Furyo Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Speaking of fishing, those who haven't tried Okami yet really should. This game is a grand masterpiece from the beginning to the very end. Quote
Mazy Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Only gotten about 15 minutes into Okami so far, but I fell asleep twice in that time. Starting a game with a massive cutscene like that with loads of text with no speak (Only some jibberish language ) doesn't really excite me that much. But now I've finally gotten to where it actually starts, so I'm looking quite forward to that Quote
Furyo Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Agreed, it's a slow start. Japanese gamers love text everywhere, and this is borderline unbearable to me. But if you bite the bullet and let it slide for the first 15 minutes you'll be fine until the end. Besides the story really grows on you. Be prepared for 40 hours of pure gaming joy Quote
