max payne set the bar for me

so call me crazy but wasn't max payne an amazing game? even to a comparable extent max payne 2? sure they were short but my god...to this day I still think about it when I'm bored in class.

(I also love my max payne mouse pad)

Did any of you guys have a moment in the middle or end of a game where you just sat back and said "my god this game is amazing" ?

i loved the game too, i think the best part was the textures, they did an awesome job, so many things about the game were neat, especially for its age.

They were superb games and I don't think that many people thought otherwise. If they did then they are shit.

It's not something I think about regularly though.

They are modern classics, no doubt. However I dont think it was a very good idea for me to complete the game about 3 times in a row after getting it, I have no interest in revisiting it now D:

But I'm still saving a Max Payne 2 replay for a good time~

I had to skip past 2's story completely tbh. I tolerated the gameplay but it felt like a lot of rehash.

Loved the first one, one of the best games ever. I got disapponted to the change of his face tho. It didn't really feel like the same story anymore, i would've never believe that it had that much effect on me.

Second was fun, but nothing amazing in it.
