I'm vaguely contemplating going into a video game design course at one of the colleges in Toronto... Seem like a smart idea? I mean i could learn it all by myself, could being the key.

Must begin modeling...

hmm i wouldnt trust it. Better learn it yourself and go learn something that has slightly to do with it (arty farty stuff), but that can provide you a backup career

My friend just finished the course in video game design at IAOD (International Academy of Design) in Toronto, He heard back the other day from EA in Vancourver, and he's flying out this month for an interview. Costs like 20k though.
