Mazy Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=19492 gj sony. Further proof that they're totally running out of control at the moment. Everything that comes out about the PS3 right now is just bad news. Seriously doubt all this will add up to anything good. Oh well, then there's more time for the Wii ~ Quote
Pericolos0 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 they recently launched their ps3 site too, a piece of crap with horrible usability... http://eu.playstation.com/ps3/ It all makes me feel sad for sony actually . It feels as if they are not even trying anymore... I also just heard the ps3 wont ship with proper cables for HD display, so if you want that you have to order an expensive cable seperately.. Quote
PhilipK Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Well shame for them.. I'm sticking with Wii. I'm happy with my psp tho Quote
Pericolos0 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 well i just bought a ps2, and have 5 years of games to catch up with . Maybe in another 5 years I'll get a ps3, when it has become more of a failed console collectors thing, like the dreamcast Quote
Furyo Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Sony should be as ashamed as it is laughable. They're riding on the wave of success the PS1 (warranted) and PS2 (mostly unwarranted) brought them, and the result is they're a joke. I can't wait to see the numbers of preorders cancelled for this xmas, and the big smiles on Nintendo and Microsoft's faces. Quote
skdr Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Oh man, seems Sony is in big trouble. Wii FTW! Quote
⌐■_■ Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 It seems the war is between nintendo and ms... who would of ever thaught that? strange how things can work out. Anyway, I predict nintendo will rule the market once again. Quote
CrazyMAC Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Didn't they say after the shambles that was the PSP launch in europe they were going to put real effort into getting the PS3 out on time. I was just starting to look forward to the ps3 as well. Ow well Wii soon and another 360 xmas. Quote
ReNo Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Will be interesting to see if MS are willing to do some post-christmas price cuts on the 360 come March, to make it even more appealing against the uber-priced, late arriving PS3. They were understandably wanting to keep it as it stands for Christmas, but I think they might be a little more willing to drop a little off afterwards. Quote
Furyo Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Actually I heard at work they just announced a 200 USD package with Ninety Nine Nights in Japan....time to take advantage of the very low number of PS3 units expected for Japan (100,000 against 400,000 for the US) Quote
Fletch Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Quote

You don't need a price cut when your comparable models are already $200 cheaper Quote
JamesL Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 If it's any consolation (it's not...) all us folks over at SCEE are as gutted as everyone else. Bet M$ are laughing their asses off at us right now. Quote
Izuno Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Seems like Sony is making the customer their lowest priority, which is a shame because I have really enjoyed my PS2 over the last few years. Can you pre-order a Wii in the US yet? Quote
