the Carpenter Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 I need somebody to dirty up my existing exterior textures. They're WAY too clean, as is. I've now tried countless times with terrible results. Textures are visible in the gif: Quote
Squirrelly Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 How many textures are we talking here? Quote
the Carpenter Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Maybe 12 - 15. I just want grime added. Quote

Polaris Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Your gonna have to be a bit more subtle than that. Quote
hamst3r Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 You could just see if you can get a good set of custom dirt/ grundge brushes. Quote
the Carpenter Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Posted August 28, 2006 These ones are supposed to look wet, by the way. Quote
requiem2d Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 More subtle, more grunge, more color, good luck Quote
the Carpenter Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 Roger that. Way too strong, I know. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 These textures need way more depth! It feels like the buidligns are made out of paper now Quote
the Carpenter Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 Any tips/help would be welcome, Peri ... Quote
Dennispls Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Paint in some lighting if your engine lacks that. Let some overlays give your texture more texture(lol that sounds odd) Also look for dirty concrete that has rainstreaks and use it as a guide or an overlay. It will make your texture look ten times more convincing! Good luck Quote
