Dodger Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Hi. I've been waiting long time to show this map for you. My latest work, my 100 % true digitalcam custom textures and my time - it's all for this map!! The map is not all done if you belive, but i'm workingand now it's the time to present what i've been all my time about when i was gone and hidden. All work is mine in this project de hogsatra 2007 cs source map I'm not about to tell details concerning the level, however it's a blockhouse suburb map.. the point of this map is to blow up the big house!!! here is the screenshots for you Quote
TeddyBear Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Nice work so far I'd get rid of (well, replace) those benches and tables in the third shot though. The first scene could use some more detailing too. Otherwise it's just to keep it up! Quote
Fletch Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 needs some decals and overlays to help break up some of the repetition. Try some rust stains under balconies, smog stains, etc. Quote
hessi Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 good start. maybe you sould make those windows dark and just add the specular mask on them. these photoperspective objects in the windows are kinda annoying. anyway: keep on it! Quote
FrieChamp Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 the point of this map is to blow up the big house!!! I love well thought through background stories, bring it on!! Quote
Dodger Posted August 17, 2006 Author Report Posted August 17, 2006 Hehe.. Soon i'll show more screenshots.. but for now i'm about to work. Quote
Sindwiller Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Holy shit, nice work. Especially the outdoor part! Perfect lighting, nice flora and pretty textures for the house. Looking forward to see the finished map. Wfr, Sindwiller Quote
SixThree Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Lightspots around the fixtures need to go, and the walls containing the doorways are extremely thin... I like the outside bit though. Quote
IR Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 nice work sofar, walls are way to thin, standard is 32 units most of the time .. some might say 16 units Quote
JAL Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Hi nexus (?) And it looks good so far. Quote
Minos Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 That walls are as thin as paper sheet besides that, some of the forniture look out of scale. Quote
PhilipK Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 I like it. With some nicer lighting outside it could be really nice. Would be cool with an evening or night setting and you could have some cool lightposts out on the yard pehaps plus some balcony lighting and lights on the entrances etc Quote
