hey!.

this time it goes gothic... :twisted:

It's still really WIP, but I hope this sp-map will be released someday.

(yeh, just another wait-for-HL2-map :wink: )

You might remember I started a map similar to this a long time ago. That's true, but this is a new map that's going to take place indoors.

The brushwork and texturing seems cool but the lighting could be improved with more contrast.

The torches look odd, partly because the flame itself is orange and the light seems almost white in some shots. Are you sure you have the right settings for the sprites? They look rather dark.

The second last screen seems a little plain. It guess it could have something else than just torches.

The overall look is cool~

I might add to the previous suggestions, that the beams (or do you call it carriers?) in the 4th pic look strange and don't fit the architecture. Rather unusual for such a setting.

looks really good, but as strat said the lighting needs work.. with that big dome roof, you really need shadows up there, so that you cant see the top of the ceiling. also, another thing that would look cool there, if you darkened it up a whole lot, would be a black sky, but at some point with that hole in the roof be able to see a full moon ;D and have like a patch of white light on the floor :D that would look so cool ;) anyway... keep up the good work :)

dont really like the lighting, seems kinda bland

the architecture looks pretty good tho, altho the transparent hole in the floor looks kinda odd as well

Anyway, work a bit with it, could get really cool looking with some tweaking

yeh!, the walltorches looks kinda plain. ;) oops, I noticed that they're also upsidedown...hehe... Would be cool to use models for them, but I rather leave that to last.

I'll try to get some more contrast out of the lightning. It indeed looks as mazy said, a little bland. I must also complete the layout in my head. But I think I'll make this map a small sp scenario, mostly because im rather novice in sp-mapping. :)
