watch the trailer carefully, there are so many elements from hl2 that i'm pretty sure either the director or the set designer was inspired by the game.

I dont think it is. It just that this seams to be inspired by 1985 which Hl2 also was inspired by. Interesting looking movie tho.

I saw this a while ago, loved it back then already. Not much similarities with HL2 to me, except the train at the beginning and the look of the city. Will be pretty neat movie

The start of the trailer was VERY Half-Life 2 - I'm amazed that anybody who has played HL2 wouldn't agree. It kinda became more distant from the game as the trailer continued though. Sounds fairly interesting, but I rarely visit the cinema these days so I'll almost certainly be waiting for the DVD.
