zaphod Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 I looked back about 4 pages and didn't see this but I haven't been keeping track of this forum a lot so I hope it's not a repeat. Lets see what you drive (or ride if you have a bike/moto/scooter/ whatever you dirty euro commies). I just got a 2006 scion tc release edition, my very own first brand new car - yay! I'm in love with it, in much part becuase it's a rolling ipod listening chamber. (plug in ipod in middle compartment, forget about it - change songs and navigate via head unit and steeringwheel controls) lets see yours! Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 i got a 98 a4 about a month ago, i'll take a better picture later top left, bottom right (other car is my dad's passat) first car i've driven with a stick and i've gotten used to it. it's got some cool features like heated black leather seats, sunroof, cd changer and such, although i use cassette -> 1/8" jack for my mp3 player. the only thing i wish it had were steering wheel controls, but to get that with the car it would have had to come with some silly package. its got a nice grooved leather steering wheel so i guess i can live with it Quote
Minos Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 Seriously now, I have a Fiat Palio (well my mom does but I always borrow it so...). It's a pretty good car for brazilian standards Quote
zaphod Posted August 10, 2006 Author Report Posted August 10, 2006 nice! I dig the little fiat mino, it's got character Quote
Ginger Lord Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 Need to get a better pic of it, took this one when I got it back from the Renault Garage where it was bought: Quote
Minos Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 Only rich people own big cars here. Gas is overtaxed. Quote
Ginger Lord Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 I don't need a Brazillian to tell me gas is overtaxed, I live in the UK where its like 99.9p a litre and about 70p of that is tax. Hence the economical 1.2 16v engine that has a stupid amount of mid-range power when its needed and a nice top speed 108mph (on paper, which is wrong because I've had it at 120). I'll go with everyone and say steering wheel controls are great too. Quote
hessi Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 you and your brand new cars. get old cars! Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 i've got an i4 with 20 valves and a turbo gogo 30 mpg highway. i was crusing aroud for hours yesterday in 5th gear and use the same amount of gas as if i were idling nice ride hessi Quote

twiz Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 ...speaking of fuel efficiency I'll be happy if I get 15mpg. I'm expecting around 12mpg i've got an i4 with 20 valves and a turbo gogo 30 mpg highway. I've got a v8 with 16 valves and a turbo Oh and hessi nice mini, really great condition! Quote
