I am currently trying to compile get a model from max into Source which so far has been a nightmare. Even with a 3rd party helper tool like SteamShovel I still got no luck on getting a .mdl out of it.

What someone really should make is a plugin to max so that I can just select "Export->Source mdl" and let that be it. Instead I am forced through a myriad of smd files, qc files, guimdl compilers, etc.

So please get that video tutorial up again!

yeah i think all of the stuff doesn't work anymore or somthing . its kinda gay. i have to re-upload it i think . along with some other new tutorials . I guess i should check the rest of them while im doing it. ill try and get it up soon ..

That would not work. You would at the very least need a ton of options to choose the settings for the model.

any chance that video will be coming anytime soon ?

would like to see my 1st model in-game ^^

i didn't realize that this many people wanted my tutorials. today when i go home ill try and remember to upload all that stuff again

if there are anymore tutorials that don't work please let me know and ill make a point to fix that.
