Quakis Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Red Faction ~ Quite a bit further after beating Capek Shadow of the Colossus ~ Beat 13, so that's 3 more to go. Quote
Mojo Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I play as the Human Torch and just light up the entire screen with fire. Apparently some people find this annoying. I know not you since you were giggling like a little school girl. Played Bully some this weekend. Interesting twist on the GTA sandbox games. A lot more structured since you ahve to sleep at 2 or else you pass out and might get robbed (oh $2 oh noes). Nothing special 3/5. Music is great though, especially when you ride a bike and get PeeWee Herman music. Quote

ReNo Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Tryed The Ship last weekend, really fun exept the lag. Yay, glad you liked it Anybody else here give it a shot over the free weekend? Was a bit crazy and the server situation wasn't really ready for the free weekend, which did indeed result in a lot of lag, but I hope it didn't ruin it for anybody who gave it a go! Quote
skdr Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Tried it! I liked it alot when I found a dedicated server without lag. Great fun. I can imagine this being a great lan game for sure! Too bad it costs 20 bucks :/ 10 bucks too much IMO. Quote

I didn't know you were in the team, thats cool One thing tho, How many players does The Ship have regulary? Since I might buy it and I want to be sure that there are plenty of players even when it isnt a free week Quote
ReNo Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Well I've gotta be honest - not exactly many. Typically you are looking at anywhere from 10 to 200 people online (was around 2000 over the free weekend). Use the Steam stats page to see how many are playing at times you would consider playing to get a feel for the sort of numbers you could expect... http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=stats& I've seen a load of people who enjoy the game that are put off solely due to the limited player numbers, which is a real shame. Of course, the more people that take the plunge and buy it, the more people there will be playing online, and so the more people there will be who are willing to buy it. Bit of a vicious circle really! Quote
