Mazy Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 I'm installing C&C3 right now, actually; was very tempted by the 360 version but I own every other major installment on the PC so I couldn't turn my back on it Also just got Cooking Mama and Mario Kart DS. Yay! Otherwise playing the new Crackdown pack and Catan on the 360, and Hotel Dusk (which is awesome) on the DS. Aye, just got through Hotel Dusk. Really enjoyed it, good to see that adventure games are getting a new life on the DS~ Also thinking about getting Cooking Mama but I'm affraid it'll just end up like every other Wii game I've got (Where I play it for 2 days and never touch it again :G). Pericolos0 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Blade Runner yes, the westwood game from 1997 It's damn impressive, can't believe I never played it before now. Quote
Erratic Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Advent Rising Just bought it off Steam. It got pretty mixed reviews back when it was released but it's pretty good so far. The music is nice and the action is fun enough. Few problems here and there, however. So far I've encountered a respawning enemy bug and an odd glitch that allows me to manipulate the menu elements around the screen Quote
Sentura Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Granado Espada Some sort of korean new MMO (free beta), which is quite fun but then again not. You control 3 characters instead of one and have to use micromanagement. I won't link to it as the DL size is 3.5 gb, and nobody here will play it anyway. Quote
Mazy Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Just finished C&C3's campaign on the 360 the other day, good stuff. Too bad I get gang raped every time I try to play it online. Its a fucking joke just how good the people that play that game online are. Anyway, preordered Forza 2 and ordered a Wii game of all things. Mario Strikers Charged, hopefully it'll last more than 2 hours (Unlike all other Wii games, pffft) Quote
Taylor Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Just finished God Hand on the PS2. It has an awful lot of flaws, most of which I assume can be attributed to the closure of Clover and them just throwing it out the door. However, despite the dodgy camera, blocky environments and surprisingly lack of customisation it was heaps of fun to play: combat is very enjoyable, it’s quite amusing when it wants to be and it's a bit quirky - going to play through it again for sure. The only flaw that really affects gameplay is the difficulty curve: it starts off hard and then gets harder. Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 mazy you have to let me know how forza 2 is, if it's as good as it looks i feel like buying a 360, forza 2 and pedals Quote
Zacker Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 I just played Stalker for the first time, as the slow poke I am. It is indeed very visible that the game has been underway for a long time. I played with everything on max and yet it did not really look impressive in any way. Quote
Defrag Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 I started Beyond Good and Evil on the PC, but it suffers from a terrible synchronisation bug. The audio & video go out of synch during the (many) pieces of story/cut-scenes, rendering it basically unplayable Thrikky, help me! Quote

JAL Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 EVE Online, possibly the best MMO game since Ultima Online. Extremely well thought out, the economy system in the game is very impressive compared to other mmo's I've played. Quote
