Doom 64: Absolution

Remember when the N64 was popular there was a version of Doom made for the console that used higher resolution graphics, lighting and high-detail sprites? No? Well wether or not you do, check this shit out:

A group of people converted it as a free download for the PC, all you need is the Doom2.wad

Playing it currently, I'm on the 8th level and it's really sweet, some of the new sprites and textures look a bit crap but the lighting is nice and the dark music is very atmospheric, makes a change from Vanilla Doom's fast paced beats. It's Doom Jim, but not as we know it

I dunno about this. Ever since the mouse freelook came i have a really hard time playing the old fps. I feel constrained some how.

You can use freelook in Doom now.
