Gipper Posted July 18, 2006 Report Share Posted July 18, 2006 Operation: Desert Storm Brief description: Operation Desert Storm (ODS from now on) is a team-based modification for Valve's first person shooter Half-Life 2. It will take place during the first Gulf War. The goal of the modification is not to copy the nameless hundreds of other games set in this timeframe. It is to bring to the HL2 platform an original and realistic game that neither shuns inexperienced players nor coddles more advanced players of games of this genre. Teams: Iraqi Republic Army US Army (U.S.A) Classes: Infantry Sniper Republican Guard / Special Forces Support Machine Gunner Medic Operation Desert Storm, will be having several game mode types, and custom code integration systems (i.e. Focus System, Stamina System and Medic System) *More Info on our site posted below Technology: C++, MAYA/3DSMAX 7/8, Photoshop/Gimp, Source SDK, Custom Code intergations, and Hammer.
