i have a feeling i'm going to like ff better because it'll have a game play very similar to the classic tfc while tf2 sounds like its a different take on the same game. i'm probably wrong though because we know virtually nothing about tf2 time will tell

Indeed. But it's just competition and fanboyness. I bet if you look at the ND forums, the users also act like children whenever a competition mod (Empires) has an update or ANY mod for source gets attention (like gmod going retail, I'm guessing that they're still bitching about Garry ripping off jbmod (which he didn't))

well, they;re kind of being fucked over here. they made ff assuming that tf2 would never come out, and if it ever did, would be radically different from tfc. out of nowhere valve pulls tf2 out of their ass and its tfc with a different graphics style. there goes a large amount of possible community and diminishing the value of their hard work.
