Fletch Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 half-life Does it have decay in it like the PS2 version? Well, no, since the DC version was cancelled. Quote
Campaignjunkie Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Oh, I just remembered - Grandia 2, if you're into RPGs. The story is somewhat mediocre and the characters aren't exactly memorable, but the fights are excellent. I remember purposely attacking monsters just to fight again - it was that good. Skies of Arcadia is good too. Kind of repetitive at times, but entertaining for the most part. Quote
Polaris Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I could of sworn I saw a pic of some guy with a "rare" copy of it or something. I didn't know it was that rare, as in non-existant. Quote
Mazy Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Power Stone (1 is awesome, 2 has some problems but adds 4 player) Sonic Adventure (2 kinda sucks for the addition of the stupid fishing levels) Guantlet Legends for lengthy co-op party fun Super Monkey Ball Virtua Tennis (still my favorite tennis game of all time) Marvel vs Capom 2 or Street Fighter Alpha 3 for some old skoolin Skies of Arcadia (the best RPG on the console) Actually it was Sonic Adventure 1 that had Big's fishing game Was okay fun the first 5 minutes, then it just started becoming a major annoyance to play :G In many ways they corrected the irritating things from the first game with SA2, but somehow it still didn't feel that complete a game. BUT STILL!!! PRETTY GOOD SHIT! Quote
Quakis Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I never had many games for the Dreamcast but I found these games pretty good: - Shenmue 1 - Sonic Adventure - Blue Stinger Quote
Sindwiller Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 My favorites: Sonic Adventure, Trickstyle, StuntGP (yeaH, its just friggin brilliant) aaaaand SoulCalibur (you can't live without it ) Wfr, Sindwiller Quote
Pericolos0 Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 trickstyle really looks like my kindoff game , i'll definitely get it Quote
Oski Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Ikaruga! i got it for GC and it rocks. top-down old style flying shooter. hardest game ever. Quote
hamst3r Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Bass Fishing and Deep Sea Fishing~ lol, I can't believe I used to play those  Quote
ReNo Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 - Metropolis Street Racer (awesome racing game - the precursor to the PGR series) - Jet Set Radio / Jet Grind Radio (don't be put off by the lesser sequel - this one is "orgasmic" compared to JSRF's "great" ) - Soul Calibur (best beat em up ever?) - Dead or Alive 2 (not as good, but holy fuck was this a looker when it came out) - Shenmue and Shenmue 2 (wow - these are the defining games of the Dreamcast really. If you have a DC, you owe it to yourself to get these games) - Grandia 2 (its probably got the best RPG combat system around, but as CJ said, not that memorable for other reasons) - Skies of Arcadia (I've not played much of it, but it reminded me of the innocent adventuring of the original Grandia, in a good way) - Crazy Taxi (its pretty crazy) - Resident Evil: Code Veronica (one of the RE series' best games) - Powerstone 2 (multiplayer carnage...though my mates weren't too keen) - Chu Chu Rocket ("stop stealing my mice!" - fun multiplayer game) - Rez (its like a Sci-Fi Panzer Dragoon with funky beats) Quote

mike-0 Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 Shenmue (Shenmue 2 if you can find it, took me a while) and Jet Grind Radio two games you will never forget Quote
Zeta Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Dc is great since it's easy as hell to burn games on cd for it and most areadily available online. Altough i was unable to find soul caliber/powerstone2/sonic/marvel vs capcom (namely all the games i wanted when it was first released). I bought mine for £5 last year heh Quote
