Taylor Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 This is funny, but it's depressing how many people must believe this crap. Quote

I mean, shit, we just went ten rounds about pre-war intelligence and how faulty it was (from logistics, to WMDs, to stabilty plans, etc). The whole moral that was supposed to come out of that was to stop crap like this from coming up. As trivial as it is, it's a symptom that seems to show the bigger problem still exists. Quote

Squirrelly Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Yet the American government can create a game killing it's opposers, and not be considered the same thing? Fucking hypocritical bastards... Quote
user Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Yet the American government can create a game killing it's opposers, and not be considered the same thing? Fucking hypocritical bastards... Uhh, I think the point was moreso, terrorists using american games to train at killing american soldiers. Quote
ReNo Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Yet the American government can create a game killing it's opposers, and not be considered the same thing? Fucking hypocritical bastards... Somehow I actually forgot about that. I'm not so sure their problem with it is that it is an American game (though that does rub salt in the wounds), I think they just have a problem with the fact they are using computer games to glorify terrorism and lure in children, and that really is hypocritical considering AA is designed to do exactly the same thing for the American army. EDIT: Oh and this should really be in games industry discussion, shouldn't it? Quote

ReNo Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 The diffrence is that military fights the military or terrorists, and terrorists fight civilians But BF2 doesn't advertise or glorify killing civilians - you can only kill military people. Quote
