General Vivi Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 you forgot the horsy thing in the front so the cowboys can rope up their horses but other wise .. looking good man Quote
R_Yell Posted June 15, 2006 Author Report Posted June 15, 2006 Thx guys  I plan to add several dirt decals, I'm going to make more for other buildings. I'd like to decrease sun reflection on lighted side, without touching the light values for the moment. There could be other improvements related to brush work, but don't want to increase the count, it's a simple building but there are a lot of faces because repetition. And finally, I should add some imperfections in the geometry so it doesn't look so perfect. If you pay attention to the original building, windows and main door seems to be intentionally misplaced. That's accounted by me, but other parts aren't. Probably there will be a second version of this map with different game mode, bank assault and escape through train station. So I'll end making the bank indoors too. Whats happning with that one? It looked awesum Presidio was almost completed, maybe I'll replace some building textures. you forgot the horsy thing in the front so the cowboys can rope up their horses he he, I plan to add those later, once more building are up. R_Yell Posted June 20, 2006 Author Report Posted June 20, 2006 This week's building is the bath house: There were needed a custom white brick material, and several railing and support wood models. Each one with 3 lod levels (that's why FPS are higher in far view) Front windows material seems to be broken, it's more shinny than it should but don't know why. Quote
teeluu Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Such a beauty, keep it going. Oh, it would be nice if you'd place all the images to the first post too, it's annoying to search the screenshots when there's lot of pages Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 i love that new one. do you have a pic from the movie to see where it came from? Quote
General Vivi Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 you might want to dirty up the windows a bit. they seem to reflective Quote
R_Yell Posted June 21, 2006 Author Report Posted June 21, 2006 i love that new one. do you have a pic from the movie to see where it came from? There aren't good pictures of this one: I added a few changes, the original has no ladder, but has a resemblance I think. This building has a story, it was the original cantina from A fistful of dollars reconverted for the second movie. I talk as a spaghetti western freak, isn't it? you might want to dirty up the windows a bit. they seem to reflective Yes, but that's a bug I think. Watch at the side picture, the same material is not so reflective, I'd like to know what happens there. Quote
R_Yell Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 Another one more, the original is a building that I like especially, maybe it's the roof top: Quote
hamst3r Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Very nice! The only thing I can say is that the green looks a little out of place, mabye a little too light? But then again it looks like you are staying true to the original so, not much to say. Quote
hessi Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 yap me likes. that's how "GUN" shall have looked like great wood materials! me <3 Quote
