mabufo Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 That was to me, the most suprising part of the entire game. It certainly took my mum off guard. If it's ok for England to win on an own-goal ... then I'm sure it's ok for us to tie on one. I hope we can go out with a bang... we certainly started this game with one. Quote
st0lve Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Brazil sucks so far. Damn they have a boring playstyle, and they do not, as this game, have the best players in the world. My guess so far, is a 1-1 Brazil vs. Australia. Quote
kleinluka Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 the 2-0 wasn't deserved. Australia was playing way better for the most part of the game :/ Quote

Minos Posted June 18, 2006 Author Report Posted June 18, 2006 nah 2nd half was cool imo. We got a lot better when Ronaldo was substituted. Although I don't really like Robinho, he played well and was very motivated, which gave the team some energy. Australia was better in the 2nd half too, making the match a lot more interesting. I was disappointed with Japan though. I was cheering for them, I really wish they had beat Croatia. They improved a lot in the past years but they still have a long way to go. Quote
st0lve Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 "BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD", and they still manage to step on the ball and miss it. Thats things that nubs do, like when it's just a bunch of friends playing for fun. Aus #23 had a kickass shot, too bad he missed. Quote
PhilipK Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 1-1 france-korea I so hope france will loose their group. Quote
ReNo Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Really enjoyed the France vs. South Korea match. Only 3 teams I really care about in this World Cup are Japan, South Korea and Italy, and hey, at least all 3 are still in Not looking like that will be true for Japan for much longer though - I reckon beating Brazil is going to be a tall order for them, even if Brazil aren't on top form at the minute. Fletch Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 France got robbed on that one goal, though, so they should have won. But they really seemed to run out of steam for the last 20 minutes or so. Quote

Some one at the studio in Swedish television said that the players use to prepare their shoes with something glue like to handle the ball better. But unfortenetly this year they also prepared the balls the teams are playing with, thats why they do a lot of wierd stuff like that. Quote
Ginger Lord Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 France are gonna go out in the first round, again Quote
