I was flicking between it and other things for a while, but it seemed a bit boring and I couldn't have cared less about the two teams, so I stopped. Wish I hadn't now, sounds crazy!

haha that was the coolest game so far imo. I really wished Holland had scored so that they would go for extra time and even penalties.

Yeah...not just the quantity of cards, but the crappy quality of some of them. But I guess if you have 20 cards in one game it is a sign the ref lost control. Still, it was an exciting game. Good luck to Portugal in next round, though.

In the last fifteen minutes, if you even looked at the ref wrong you were going to get booked. Granted, the game got really dirty with numerous hard fouls on purpose, shoving matches, and a few players thrown to the ground for the hell of it. At the very least, it was fun to watch. I loved the shot at the end of all of the players who got red carded huddled in the box with no room left, and instead of fighting, they're making fun of the ref.

Yeah, that was Deco and Van Bronckhorst, who play together for Barcelona. No doubt they were sharing their misery.

it was I nice match, we (holland) had the best chances in the second half and we deserved to win or to play even.

The ref in the game Australia-Croatie also was really funny, 3 yellow card to the same person

The president of fifa said that the referre of holland vs Portugal, was not up to the match, and that he(the referee) got a yellow. Plus the faul against ronaldo at the begining of the match deserved a straight red card, and that deco didn't deserved the red card.

So as usual we, portugueses, will blame it on the referre, altough we still won the match.. i still don't understand how holland didn't won, but hey i'm happy next stop england!
