The map has 64 spawnpoints, and all stuff, like the overview, costum content and the nav-file are integrated in a single bsp. alexroyce Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 Argh! HDR! Looks good from the shots, albet pretty heavy with the HDR. Looks like theres too much fog for the skybox aswell, but im not sure if its fog itself, or a combination of fog and HDR. Quote

ReNo Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 HDR skybox is a bit bright, as has been said, but I don't think it looks like the effect is overused in the actual level. Fogged out building in the first shot looks odd though. Oh, and so do the multi-coloured trees in the second last shot Everything else looks fine and dandy...in fact more than fine and dandy, whatever that may be Good job! Quote

It has all the ingredients of being a good map but too many areas that look unfinished. Especially some of the areas where you have made brushwork railings and ladders, as well as the support beams in the warehouse and underground hallway. I don’t think anything but a model can cut it these days. as well as that, the de-railed train just doesn’t look right, there is nothing to signify what made the train fall off the tracks. Also, there is quite a few other things I noticed but are too had to explain without posting screenies. I might post them later. Other than that though, there theme is good and the map has all the makings of a good one, i just think it needs more work. Quote
Gaz Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I love the railway part, especally the shot of the tunnels. Only thing that I don't like is the water fog colour, its too blue and doesn't fit the rest of the level for me. Perhaps a more browny colour would suit better? Good job though Quote
