l3fty Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 I am leaving this project to seek employment, and in doing so the team has an opening for a 3D artist. The artist would be responsible for modelling, skinning and animating the player model for this multiplayer project. If you are interested in this position, please email Jeff Katz, the project leader at: jeff@soulstrewn.com or call 1-775-242-1187. Digital Paint Ball is a Source powered paintball game being developed by Soulstrewn Studios as a follow up project to their popular modification for Half-life. You can learn more about the project and the team here: http://www.digitalpaintball.net/
curman Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Just wondering, do you guys make people sign NDAs?
l3fty Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 Yeah an NDA needs to be signed when people are taken on, however its not too restrictive and just serves to protect the company.
l3fty Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 To answer your somewhat odd question, Soulstrewn Studios is indeed a registered company and just like anyone on the planet it has access to legal representation. http://sdatcert3.resiusa.org/ucc-charte ... &MaxPage=1 That is the registered company information.
RD Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Looks good. And to the other guys stop being so childish
kleinluka Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Since this is a professoinal recruitement thread I'm moving it into the appropriate forum. @l3fty: Send a PM to Mikezilla or Mojo to get posting rights in that forum.
curman Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Looks good. And to the other guys stop being so childish We asked questions regarding their modification and joining, shut the hell up.
Fletch Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Since this is a professoinal recruitement thread I'm moving it into the appropriate forum. @l3fty: Send a PM to Mikezilla or Mojo to get posting rights in that forum. They're still a mod and they're not paying, so I feel inclined to move this back to the other forum unless there is a counter-arguement. NDAs don't make it "professional."
Defrag Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 What makes this any different to a regular mod?

They're not paying? l3fty, can you clarify that? I was thinking since he said "we are a registered company" that employees would be compensated. If this is not the case feel free to move it back to the other forum.
