Hmm.. What is the maxium polycount when modeling a gun to Q2?

I don't know off hand. However, I do know that we did remove some of the caps on texture sizes and such. I still think polycounts should be kept low-ish.

Were you thinking of making something?

To make things better I show you a potential airstrike bomber model that you can call in via the dispenser unit :) Enjoy this for now! I'll see about getting the build up onto a download space later on.

to already have th first build. thats pretty impressive. are you guys coding it aswell? this is becoming a very nice project :D

Coding it, yeah. The biggest hurdle thus far was switching to md3 model support (animations, etc) and now that that infrastructure is there it's smooth sailling.
