No, seriously, they are. The most interesting tid-bit...

Specifically, Louis has isolated strange, thick-walled, red-tinted cell-like structures about 10 microns in size. Stranger still, dozens of his experiments suggest that the particles may lack DNA yet still reproduce plentifully, even in water superheated to nearly 600 degrees Fahrenheit . (The known upper limit for life in water is about 250 degrees Fahrenheit .)

AFAIK this is still seen with alot of skeptisism under scientists because other tests have found DNA traces...

anyways no dna doesnt mean they are alien, blood cells also have no dna.

And the scientist proclaiming they migth be extraterrestrial is an astrophysicist .. i'd more like to hear such things from someone in the proper academic field, like a biochemicus

blood cells also have no dna.

red blood cells don't have dna because they have no nucleus, which is also why they are produced in bone marrow and can't reproduce themselves. according to the scientists this alien stuff can.
