I remember that one.

You had to defuse a bomb, sorta like in counterstrike, just that you had to guess the code.

And every button on the panel changed function every time you failed and loaded.

And you had to guess like 5 different codes.

On a timelimit.

BUT HEY!

Atleast you got rewarded with a 5 second video when you finally made it.

Yeah, the ending in Far Cry really reminded me of the one in Red Faction. Both were very similar and crappy.

Good games, nonetheless.

Resident Evil 2 ending is really stupid as well. But the RE3's one is pretty nice.

Nothing stupid about it really, although I do hope you've seen the expanded Scenario B ending.

I also loved the ending in Fallout2, it changed a bit depending how you played. And I exspecially liked it because you could continue playing after the end!

Silent Hill 2 had a great set of endings, although all of them were ultimately very depressing (but it is Silent Hill).

The ending where you leave with Laura is probably the most upbeat, and thankfully it was the one I got so my sanity was preserved. Still, you've just been through hell after euthanising your wife... heavy.
