mawibse Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 With the arrival of Chicken Little to DVD several eggsperts has concluded that the egg came before the chicken. The reason is down to the fact that genetic material does not change during an animal's life. Therefore the first bird that evolved into what we would call a chicken must have first existed as an embryo inside an egg. There, now I wait for "Over the hedge" to come to DVD to settle the old "if a tree falls in the woods". Quote

Minos Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 of course the egg came first. Dinos had eggs and were trillions of years older than chickens... Quote
KoKo5oVaR Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Chickens come from dinosaures and we come from little rodents, AND NOW WHO EAT'S WHO EH ?§ Quote
mawibse Posted May 29, 2006 Author Report Posted May 29, 2006 of course the egg came first. Dinos had eggs and were trillions of years older than chickens... ... you really thought that this filosophical question all this time was refering to just any kind of egg? Wow! Quote
RD Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 just by using logic you can deduct that the egg came first. A chicken hatches from an egg, therefor the egg must have come first. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 just by using logic you can deduct that the egg came first. A chicken hatches from an egg, therefor the egg must have come first. but eggs come from chickens mutations happen at reproduction, therefor the egg was first to be 100% honest none came first, because there are no clear border between species. the state between chicken and prehistoric chicken like bird is a huuuge gray area. reality isnt black & white Quote
mawibse Posted May 30, 2006 Author Report Posted May 30, 2006 just by using logic you can deduct that the egg came first. A chicken hatches from an egg, therefor the egg must have come first. That would be A comes from B, therfor B comes first. Too bad: An egg is layed by a chicken, therefor the chicken comes first. That would be B comes from A, therefor A comes first. So logically youre logic deducting skills are illogical. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 we all know god created the chicken as it is 6000 years ago. An egg doesnt hatch by itself Quote
mawibse Posted May 30, 2006 Author Report Posted May 30, 2006 True, forgot about that, sorry god dude. Quote
kleinluka Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 There was no egg.... The chicken mutated into its current shape all the way from a little microbe bacteria, then evolved into something bigger, and bigger, then eventually it grew legs, and wings, and feathers, .... then it started laying eggs and other chickens were made so easy Quote
