JynxDaddy Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 If there is no Cerebral Bore, this game sucks. Quote
D3ads Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Oh man, Turok on the N64 was a fucking game and a half, I played for hours in GAME once when I was younger on the demo console, the management had to ask me to leave so someone else could have a go Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 er, one of our animators went there after a short stay here, but I could have sworn all our level designers are accounted for here or other studios that are not this one... I'm confused! Quote
FrieChamp Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 "Propaganda Studio" - now that explains all the "T" for "Turok" guerilla marketing style posters all over LA and the big booth and ads at E3. The show inside the booth was laughable though. Concept art and a rendered clip. I liked the first Turok game, 2nd one was cool too but I haven't touched anything after that. Quote
Belgarion Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 i own Turok 1 and 2 for PC. never finished either, but I love those games. Sounds like they're putting a lot of sweat and blood into the game, and i really hope it pays off. It'd be a shame to have yet another below-par Turok game out there when they could be so awesome. Still, even if it isn't so awesome, it's using U3Engine... it looks pretty. Gotta love the shot of that T-Rex with the saliva dripping from his teeth. Quote

Propaganda Games is the Vancouver division of Disney Interactive so they aren't noobs. Sounds like the game is still in pre-prod, hence the "weak" demo. You can probably expect more for next years E3.. Quote

I'm just not a big fan of these premature marketing campaigns, mostly, because they distract from games which are much further in development today Quote
alexroyce Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Turok for N64 kicked major ass. Tons of replayability and cheats made it great. Quote
Belgarion Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 hah. yeah Turok had an insane amount of weird cheats. like fruity colors. Quote
