(as a rough measure) as soon as it is ready i will post in here. greets! Steppenwolf Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Nice trees. You should spent some more time on tweaking the directions of the leaf planes tho. They look a bit weird and unnatural in some spots. I know thats the hardest part of modeling trees. I modeled a dozen trees myself yet. Also you should tweak the uvmap by hand on the planes where the thick ends of the branches seem to begin in mid air. just unwrap these planes so that only the leafes are visible. Quote
The Postman Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Wonderful stuff. My only suggestion is adding a "root bulb" to the bottom so that the tree can be rotated or placed on uneven ground easily. Quote
