open positions?

So...

I would like to start a thread of a gathering of info, updated ever month or so.

basically a collection of current job openings at companies you guys hear about so we can compile them all. gather jobs off gamasutra, gamejobs, polycount, slashdot, etc.

also, some companies don't post on those sites. I think it'd be cool to have kind of a centralized page. Modders could especially look for entry level positions easily this way. or, if their dream company starts hiring, etc.

The only problem with the designated forum is that only authorised representatives can post there. A thread like this could still be useful for word of mouth type stuff, though I guess it'd be even better to have a third recruitment forum for it.

i think that if you really want a job bad enough, you'll look hard for it and not rely on someone else spoonfeeding links of job boards etc.

I'm with Izuno on this - the only people that are likely to care about positions coming up are those looking for work, and those people are probably going to be looking at places like gamasutra, gamejobs, recuitment agency sites, etc... anyway. I think it's a bit different when the company that somebody here works at is looking (I've seen it here in the past with Crytek for example) and they post that, but simply taking it from other commonly looked at sites to post here seems pointless.
