General Vivi Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 thats looking mighty sexy there steppen ^^ how long does it take you to render that? Quote
Steppenwolf Posted April 30, 2006 Author Report Posted April 30, 2006 30 minutes or so. Quality Settings are on low. I believe the final render in better quality and higher resolution will render half a day on my pc. Quote
ReNo Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Awesome work, it really does take a fair bit of detective work to tell if its a render or a photo. Quote
von*ferret Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 for your flat planes, add a meshsmooth (use subdivisions so it only tesseleates and doesn't actualy smooth) and add a LITTLE noise modifier to them. It'll add soft shadows as things are not exaclty straight. Also chamfer the edges around sharp things so they catch highlights better. Nothing is razor sharp! Mighty fine, love the lighting. Quote
