General Vivi Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Made this model by request for someones dods map a bit back and im just now getting to compile it with the new skins i made . So here ya go peoples. This model contains 3 separate wood stack models with 3 different skins each. -extra info - this model is a great model to put up for cover because it comes up to about half a persons height. the snow skin is kinda funky... but meh. -----Download links----- Vivi's site Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 the last one is good for putting under power lines with pigeons on them Quote
ReNo Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'm ashamed it took me a good few seconds before I got that Bic Models look cool - nice that you made varients on it too. Thanks for putting them up here for us. Quote
Squirrelly Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 the last one is good for putting under power lines with pigeons on them I actually laughed out loud from that comment. Nice work, Vivi. Quote
JynxDaddy Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Looks really great. Show us them in the map asap. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 its nice but why do people always make these skylight renders if its a game model... it doesnt really give an indication of how good the model will look ingame Quote
The Postman Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Awesome stuff, but the snowy model could use a real touch up, snow doesn't collect like that on a surface. Great attention to detail on the wood though. Wonderful color saturations. Quote
spacer Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 The snow one needs to have more snow on the top. But damn, those models own . STOP BEING SO GOOD. Quote
General Vivi Posted April 23, 2006 Author Report Posted April 23, 2006 thanks spacer ^^ come work for nmrih and dump zp >_ Quote
hydeph Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 i think the 'snow' would look better if it were recoloured to be sand Quote
von*ferret Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I hope you removed the blue tint in your skylight for that render or the colors will be completely off from what we could expect ingame. Quote
Minos Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Nice stuff, don't really like the dark one tho. Quote
General Vivi Posted April 23, 2006 Author Report Posted April 23, 2006 the blue tinted wood one in the first picture was the origional wood that i made for someones snow map . the rest of them were for fun , i do admit that the snow skin looks pretty bad but thats only because i was a lazy ass and took 30 seconds to make it, if i had spent more time on it it would have looked way better but sadly i did not. also to ferret : how do i take off the blue tint? would be nice to know Quote
