Hipshot Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Romero's new shit... if not, why would I wanna work? I got cash to live without. Quote
Schmung Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Rockstart North. What are Remedy now? wouldn't mind working there. Raven would also be cool. Quote
JAL Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Remedy is the Finnish company that made "Max Payne & Max Payne 2". They're currently working on "Alan Wake". Quote
RD Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 I dont know what company, but i would only work on certain kinds of games. Quote
Furyo Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 I'd easily sell my soul to work at Valve. Hell, I'd sell it for a greencard I was surprised you hadn't replied that before in the thread Magnar Then again, we're in the same boat Quote
Schmung Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Remedy is the Finnish company that made "Max Payne & Max Payne 2". They're currently working on "Alan Wake". I tohught they went tits up? Foolish moi, I heard they weren't doing MP3 (badoom tish) and thought they had moved elsewhere. Seen the Alan Wake trailer, not really my bag, but they have a nce visual flair and nive environmental design. Quote
nooba Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'd like to work at Valve.. but i never will.. probably anyway.. Quote
Izuno Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'd like to work at Valve.. but i never will.. if that's what you say, then that's what will be. Quote
nooba Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 if that's what you say, then that's what will be. That, in a way, helps me.. it gives me confidence (is that the word? ) .. I guess I shouldn't say things like what I said.. I'll edit my post so it sounds a bit better.. Quote
ginsengavenger Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Aye gin, Double Fine certainly has had its share of bad luck and trouble, but Tim Schafer = makes it all worth it. Its still a wonder to me how come Microsoft dropped their deal with Double Fine, if that had gone through maybe it wouldve sold as many copies as it deserved Bingo. Working with Tim Schafer would be wall-to-wall mad fun, even with the birthing pains and chaos of a new company's first title. You sure about that? getting fired because the boss doesn't have time to tell you what he wants, that sounds like fun? Quote
spacer Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'd love to work at like... Threewave, or Gearbox. Unfortunately Gearbox is in Texas and Threewave is in Vancouver . Quote
Ginger Lord Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Not sure if I'd want to work in the Games industry, certainly wouldnt want to work at Valve. Have my personal reasons for that. Ubisoft always seemed good, Bullfrog back in the day. Quote
marque_pierre Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Ensemble Studios, Blizzard, Valve, Double Fine, Bioware, Naughty Dog, Nintendo, Capcom or Ubisoft. Possibly Rare if they can get they can get their shit together. Quote
