Bluestrike Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Word is Valve aproached him, and he's getting the source sourcecode in return. Anyway its 'hear say'. Quote
D3ads Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 It doesn't interest me, therefore I wont touch it. Far be it for me to tell anyone else not to bother though. Quote
Freelancer Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 I will buy it. Garry spent a lot of hard work into garry's mod and just $10 for it is alright. And now when he will be paid for the mod, he will add a lot more advance and cooler stuffs. There is nothing wrong with Gmod , yes it gets boring after a while because you need to learn how to make those advance and fun stuffs. I wont buy it the first week or so, because I'm very poor and can't really afford it at the moment. And this mod is very advance, what mod have motion blur? And what mod let's you weld together a 6 wheeler and then code a racing game mode in LUA and then race with the 6 wheeler? Quote
von*ferret Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 please check your grammar a LITTLE bit in the future freelancer. Quote
Polaris Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Actually his grammer wasn't too bad. It was the use of the word "advance" instead of "advanced". Quote
hydeph Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Grammar. Anyways, my thoughts on the whole *cry cry* GMOD shit is who gives a fuck, it was fun for 15 minutes. Anybody who likes it after that clearly likes it enough to buy it, so why not just buy it. Christ, you could buy Gmod or a dimebag. Every forum I lurk, people are whiny and crying calling garry a faggot, but it's all in vain since he's going to do it anyways. Onos! Gmod is goen ooooooo what will I make my shitty HL2 pose comics with? SMod? The Japanese ripoff? Probably! Quote
mike-0 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Christ, you could buy Gmod or a dimebag. ! a dimebag would last you longer than gmod Quote
Ginger Lord Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I wouldn't mind if Gmod actually had staying power, but it doesnt. You join a laggy server, goof around for 10 mins then go "lol" and close it. Quote
Fletch Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Yeah, the problem with sandbox gameplay is that most people play online games because they like to be able to jump into a structured gameplay style very quickly. It's something you can do for 15 minutes when you're bored. Gmod just doesn't have that. Quote
zaphod Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 I wish him good luck, if I could make a living off making my own stuff and putting it on steam then I wouldn't give two shits about anyone complaining about it. Quote
