And another thing. They announced 9 episodes? Just how much time are they going to spend on developing a single episode. I hope the 9th episode isn't coming out like 4 years from now. By then Source will look like SHIIIAAT. (ps. doesn't it already look like moderate shit? )

Episodic content just reeks of money gathering schemes.

It works for TV as its free, so you know your gonna get the next bit no matter what. Games...well..I'm not paying £12 every now and then to find out what comes along. I doubt I'll be getting Episode One for that matter either. Sure the HL2 universe is nice, but hey I'm not paying £2 for an hour of gameplay.

Yeah, but done right, which I think Episode 1 will be, it'll just be like an add-on pack, in a similar vein to Opposing Force etc.
