D3ads Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 ...but this is fucking insanity: http://www.angelfire.com/ma4/question/insight7.html Sure enough, Danny repeats a Fibonacci sequence through the number 13: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13. After 13, he starts again with 1. Bringing in my Algebra 2 knowledge of the Fibonacci sequence, when the equation for the Fibonacci sequence (which I don't actually know) is graphed, it forms a sprial whose vertex depends on the number at which the sequence begins. Coincidence? I began to think not. Quote
dissonance Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 O___O Tool does some trippy shit, but... I think he was a bit tripped out. Quote
RD Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 im not gonna read that massive block of text, so why dont you tell us what this is about? Quote
curman Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 tool pretty much sucks, and this kid is trying to prove otherwise. Quote
Tequila Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Tool must suck because their fans haven't heard of paragraphs. Actually nah, the live version if Push It is great. Quote

D3ads Posted March 23, 2006 Author Report Posted March 23, 2006 Well, AEnima and Lateralus are boring as fuck, it's all about Undertow and Opiate. I don't have high hopes for the new album... Quote
ReNo Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Ahahaha Spirals, the Fibonacci sequence, the Holy Gift?! This guy is completely crazy! Either that or Tool ar fucking crazy. Either way, get calling the psyche ward Quote
TomWithTheWeather Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 They can be a bit pretentious sometimes, but I like most of their work, with AEnima being my favorite. Quote
D3ads Posted March 24, 2006 Author Report Posted March 24, 2006 Just read the quote I posted, basically the whole thing's like that... Quote
Zacker Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 There is nothing specially fucked about this, many of Tools songs are strongly influenced by mathematics. And yep, they rock hard:) Quote
D3ads Posted March 24, 2006 Author Report Posted March 24, 2006 Yeah but fuck me, can you say pretenious or what? Quote
