Proof that even with a team full of talent, a singleplayer mod is ridiculously hard to put together.

Here's hoping they can salvage something for Source, but I'm feeling quite cynical about this on-the-whole.

It looks cool but it will be really hard for them to impress on source engine. I mean, people expect a lot more of what they can put together at the moment, their team shrunk considerably and good looking maps with custom content take A LOT of time on source. But I'm sure they will make it.

honestly, the media, the hl1 version was more inpressive then the source, they had a rough trip people leaving for prof reasons, but i agree they should have just finished the hl1 version and be done with it, i dont see this coming out ever, but oviously i hope they prove me wrong, just if you wanna ditch all that good sometimes awsome hl1 mapping please provide us with something wow, to that extend.

Worst.Decision.Ever.

All that work gone to waste, I can't see much of it being salvaged in a respectable way :(

This really makes me angry, I wanted to play it :cry:

..I understand that they might be opening the hl1 maps in Source hammer and adding to them, but as everyone agrees, it isn't the way to go with a Source mod.

I thought it was going to be called Half-Life 1.e, the "e" indicating the alternate reality created by instability in the Realignment Agenda that we saw took place in Half-Life :Zero. It makes more sense, especially after the Pareto Optimality timeline in the "Zero: Avagadaro" expansion pack for HL 1.2. I mean, c'mon, we saw the Combine in it and everything; it makes sense that the re-intersection of the pluralities would occur shortly afterwards.

The HL1 mod got bought up by Valve and they shall be releasing it as Half-Life 1.5, to explain what happened in between Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2.

It's sick that you started on HL2, hl2 ain't better then Half-Life1 in a way.

Even if the staff is working on HL2, It's sick..

And Ken20banks made even a level for it and i was waiting so long time..

to play it from the chapters.. but look

You guys made many levels for NW and now making a half more for Half-Life2?

Why did I wait for this mod? To wait more for Hl2 NW?

Dont get the deal.

Seriusly i don't care about nightwatch longer..

It's like good mods allways die. If this will happen insurgency mod I'm jumping off a bridge.

Why do as me and never finish something, Like many of my maps that collapsed? Don't take my advice!

But i just dont get it, last years NW was 1. on my list..

Now... you know take this personally but: I loved nightwatch and the work they did, it was awsome.. awsome because it looked awsome..

Finish something that you wanted to finish, finish first and then finish,

go to the finish and finish, whatever you finished or you sayed it,

you guys sprayed it, Keep the words steady, the fans was never ready for this.. so who you playing with? Remember from me, Half-Life 2 is ain't better it, Half-Life1 deserving it..
