DR@GONFLY Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 This map is for the HL2 DM mod, DEATMATCH EXTREME (Powered by / known before as: InstaGib Source) Its an remake of UT_2003's DM_GAEL An 1on1 map weres no hiding! But because UT2003 is to simple, I will add more... moooore details to it! Texturing now is just from hl2, Final there will be only custom textures with Bumpmap. This is an fast LDR compile, but final its gonna be an HDR map ! But now... enjoy the first screens of : DMX_GEAL! Greetz, DR@GONFLY Quote

Pericolos0 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 It looks cool but I dont like how everything is made with brushes... the original dm_gael was built almost completely out of meshes . I'm pretty sure this could look alot better and more detailed of you made more of the details out of models Quote
rockdude86 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 piczise is normal, right? oeps... lol yeah, im at school right now. crappy monitors running at 800x600... Quote

(sorry for answering all this stuff kaj  ) Quote

Taylor Swift Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Well I like the sci fiction architecture so far.. Quote
Hourences Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 If that are brushes nice to see you put so much effort in the brushes altho it would have been much nicer if you had invested that effort in creating your own architecture instead of copying it you also copied one of the worst playing UT2004 maps there is Its not a bad effort but could have been more original and better Quote
DR@GONFLY Posted March 6, 2006 Author Report Posted March 6, 2006 it would have been much nicer if you had invested that effort in creating your own architecture instead of copying it:) Jup youre right, but this map is an remake of geal An map I like cause its small and there is no hiding You will soon see more maps for DMX from me that are made in my own style ok? :-) Quote
