this is the clown Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 MapCore is a mapping tool kit - basically, a library of mapping and terrain analysis functions. The software manipulates 2-D map and 3-D terrain data within the user's application windows. MapCore supports 2-D and 3-D visualization, along with tactical overlays and symbology. Users can create fly-throughs, and perform NVG and FLIR simulations. MapCore uses DirectX or OpenGL. The software is designed to minimize CPU usage and perform even on low-end platforms. http://www.tec.army.mil/td/tvd/survey/MapCore.html
