They are not just finding that any similarities between Religion and Science is preposterous, the way they write about it clearly shows how they look down upon those who have what they lack, faith.

Did I ever say I am an atheist? I do not look down on anyone that is honest about their religious views. I do look down on people that ignore or avoid counterarguments just so they can keep believing what they want to believe (and push that belief on their peers). And this is something i yet need to encounter in modern science

Alright, I'll say I do not consider myself an atheïst. Doesn't mean i have "faith" though. You don't even know if tom has faith yet you say i show contemp for a person of his faith

Completely true, but these theories do eventually get dismissed and die. While in mass religion it's apparently acceptable to still have ridiculous aged views.
