Tequila Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 However I still think 24 is going to end up being a horrible series, since they're just gonna go on with the seasons until the viewer numbers go down That pretty much happens with any show these days. Quote
Grinwhrl Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 it used to be a horrible series till now, so eat my shoe Quote
seppe Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 im watching the 4th episode at the moment i really like it, but i think the 3th is a bit better. I liked the actors in 3 a lot more than the actors in season 4. I hate the leading bitch of CTU in season 4 i want chapel back but he's dead . Im happy almeida and chloe are back in 4 and some nice fat dude I forgot his name ). Quote
RD Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 i loved the episode where jack was blackmailed to kill his boss and did it Quote

Section_Ei8ht Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I just finished watching season 2 on dvd. Good god, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack from suspense. Time for season 3. Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 the suspense thing has been angering me, the entire show revolves around cliffhangars and they never really resolve the issues with a sense of accomplishment. its just a dragged on set of omg we're going to die if... and the next episode squeezes it's way through it and onto the next life or death suspense Quote

Kosmo Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Mark my words, 24 is going to last as long as Emmerdale, after 40 years, you are not so happy about it anymore. Quote

JAL Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I wish Jack would shoot 1 person for every line of dialogue Kiefer Sutherland has to say in 24. Quote

von*ferret Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I hope this is the last season, and I am absolutey repulsed by a rumored movie. However 24 is my favorite movie, show, what ever you want to call it. To me its totaly epic. Nothing has ever grabbed my attention like 24. I refused to watch it until it was on DVD because I can't stop watching one after the other, until season 5. The conclusion of season 4 blew me out of the water with so much emotion, betrayal, love ect that I couldn't wait a year to see season 5. For anyone who thinks Jack Bauer is simply a run, gun and kill everything character hasn't actualy seen the television show. People who've seen all the episodes see that Jack isn't a linear character, rather he has so many emotions. However when a situation arises, he is able to assess the situation and act accordingly. Hell there are even parts in the show that give advice to viewers on how to react with their life (Mason lecturing Bauer on the Nuke Plane in season 2). Chloe is an awesome character that in my opinion mirrors Jack in many ways. Just like Jack we're able to watch Chloe adapt, react, and grow. One season she is a bitchy smart techy, the next she kills someone, in the 3rd she defies her superiors for loyalty and trust. Its the same as we watch Jack grow, and I'm afraid decay. I could go on forever, I'll just leave with my last thought. Jack Bauer's portrait is the only thing allowed on my bedroom wall. Quote
