I was wondering if anyone is working on a Counter-Strike Source port for my favorite 1.6 map de_comrade_3rdroute? Any information would be greatly appreciated

he atleast made de_comerade. not sure if he made a version called 3rdroute.

Google for it, cause I haven't ever hear about anyone working on such a map.

de_comrade and de_comrade_3rdroute are virtually the same map. CAL modified de_comrade by adding an extra vent to bombsite B making the map more balanced (the uneducated and sarcastic comment wasn't necessary).

Everyone's favorite HL mapper, narby, has made a few changes to his recently released maps, de_comrade and de_cpl_fire. Due to recent complaints and critiques, he's improved the maps and hopefully has made them better for clan matches and scrims. Here is narby's take on the changes to comrade:

Comrade was criticized for not having a 3rd route into site B, not having bomb site labeled and having a slight CT bias. To this end, I've added a walkable vent entrance to B, labeled the sites and added more cover to the central corridors used by rushing CT's.

If the map is chosen to join fire in CAL, it will be renamed to de_cpl_comrade and have the appropriate banners added to the map.

I know I'll enjoy the extra route to B bombsite and the added cover in the halls. Hopefully we'll see the new maps up for download soon, but for now, he has some lovely screenies on his website.
