I've taken some pictures of a stonewall I would want to use as a texture, but there is a problem: The picture has a shadow on it. Is there any way to remove that shadow? cdxx Posted January 11, 2006 Report Share Posted January 11, 2006 that shadow is too dark. I played around with it but lost lots of detail in the shadow areas... cdxx Posted January 26, 2006 Report Share Posted January 26, 2006 good ol photochop i had to equalized the light parts to as close to the shadow part as possible then I fooled around w/ the settings to get the lighting somewhat neutral, gonverted to greyscale. then I burned in some and dodges others. That's mostly where I lost the detail. then colored it in again with a screen and manually changed the color on the bricks that are darker.
