Mazy Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 oh common, the inferno remake was awesome, best looking cs:s map imo, and it runs fine for me. Never was a big fan of the original inferno, but the remake felt so much more alive that I really like it now The train remake was pretty sad tho imo Quote
RD Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 inferno isnt very popular on servers Mazy Quote
OrnateBaboon Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I think that the remake that least uses the power of the source engine is Italy. Far too block and prop for me. Playing it after inferno really shows a big contrast in detail. Quote
cdxx Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 when i'm finished with my current map I think i'm gonna remake cs_siege or cs_docks. Those were some of my favorites among militia and nuke. Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 i become so frustrated in css because of all the shit laying everywhere you try to go soewhere and run into a barrel and bounce bck. in office the corridor gets block by file cabines. in aztec the sewer has barrels in it that i always get stuck on, as well as the ones up top. ust everywhere a physics prop seems to be i get stuck on it and it pisses me off to no end. id probably play cs a lot more if not for those fucking props. it would be awesome if there were a server variable to turn prop/player interactions Quote

Bic-B@ll Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 those are all client side graphical things. a server wouldn't allow you to simply ignore objetcs. it would be like putting a noclip command in Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 edit: shit, that was huge :X http://steampowered.com/Steam/Marketing ... ilitia.jpg Quote
kleinluka Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 wow doesnt even look like militia anymore. but looks nice! Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 i hope the change in slant to the roof doesn't change a lot, or a largely changed backyard. i loved the game play of the original. using a scout on that map i'd have endless hours of fun Quote
Belgarion Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 my mother even thought that was beautiful. Quote
Grinwhrl Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 New Militia looks good but why a farm, and why are there Silos in the middle of a cliffed area??? Makes no sense. Stupid Design I will make my finally opinion when i see entire map though. Quote
ginsengavenger Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 notice there are no stupid physics props in that yard Quote
