cyanide you're making a lot and a lot of models, but most of them dont look really nice and bad eather. Try to invest a little more time in one model so it's look stunning and not almost finished. :)

Apparently you don't grasp the concept of a WIP thread. This is a WIP forum, after all.

Almost done w/ the base. Yes, the seems are noticable minus the arm/wrist because I haven't fixed them yet.

sure he does. and yet he's totally right. i was about to post the exact same thing. it was alright with the last models but especially on this hand the modeling part could have be much much better. the poly distribution is far from being ok. there's quite some unneeded polygons on the knuckles and the fingers themselves are quite randomly divided and the fingertips really make it look not that good at all. because of that edgy look it all looks like a hl1 hand model cause you can't really see all the invested polygons on the knuckels but yet on the finger tips where you can see that you didnt't invest enough. these 4 rings of polygone are not needed and could be placed much more effectively on the finger tips to give it a rounder look. too bad, you already almost done with texturing this. could have been a much better model, cause the texture looks quite nice.

I'm not really into the stretching near the palm where the the thumb connects to the hand, but I don't think it will be too noticable ingame. Here's basically the final product. I took off those bandages because I didn't like them, and just dirtied em up.

Well, I was doing it for a mod I was doing, but I figured since that wasn't getting anywhere fast I might let TW:Source use them, since I joined up w/ them. Don't know though.

As for adding cuts, etc. it's a good idea, but I can't be bothered to open it up and do that stuff right now, got other things I'm handling :P
