evillair Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 Part of a section of a texture I am making. (3dsmax/ZBrush) I will only use the normalmap of this model for the texture obviously. Quote
IR Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 cool stuff, Yves, cant wait to see the final texture so gona be awsome Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 awesome, but it has this typical zbrushy look to it though, but i bet you'll finish it up with some photoshopping to make it look more unique? Quote
evillair Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Posted January 4, 2006 Thanks, I'm just using the model's normalmap for the texture, this won't be how the texture will look. I'll be doing the textures by hand. Quote
General Vivi Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 how long did that take to render? Quote
RD Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Looks like that guy from Saw that got trapped and died in the razor room Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 how long did that take to render? it's zbrush.. thats not a render Quote
kleinluka Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 you can render stuff in z-brush too, and its much faster than doing it in max Quote
evillair Posted January 6, 2006 Author Report Posted January 6, 2006 I made several passes with different textures for it, like 8 different texture pass. Each one was from 10 - 20 minutes. The lighting pass took the longest (like 30-45mins). Quote
D3ads Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Brilliant work, I can't even begin to imagine how you do that stuff Quote
