Hammer...ID problem?

(Not sure were to post this, move if incorrect)

I've recently loaded Hammer 4 up (Didn't download the beta SDK) and now it won't work because of this problem:

I have no clue to what it means or any idea what to do. Why does Hammer not work when you want to use it

Edit: Extra information:

I've reset the configs, the SDK and even reinstall the SDK..nothing.

worked for me when i added -beta sdk

Ok I got that problem last night.

I closed steam, then restarted using the shortcut with the -beta sdk added in the shortcut command line, just like DudeTor said and it worked fine for me.

Make sure to check for that, then let us know if it works.

Now it works. Thanks - Hope the bugs in the beta don't get in the way though.

possible fix #1

To fix the 211 error simply delete this line in the gameinfo.txt at Valve\Steam\SteamApps\name\counter-strike source\cstrike :

ToolsAppId 211

and add this line:

AppId 211

This just proves how much mapcore pwns. I emailed valve about the problem week ago and no response. After searching mapcore forums I find the answer instantly. Good going RD & dudes

The previous update before this had the same bug/mistake. Valve just couldn't learn on the first time

Yup. My beta SDK works, but a tonne of stuff is broken (props show up as "obsolete" amongst other things).
